Performance Networks

Businesses, large and small, can take advantage of the efficiencies associated with IP-based communications and voice over IP services.

Are VoIP calls cheaper than calls on traditional telephone networks?

In most cases, yes, call rates are significantly lower than traditional telephone networks while calls to other VoIP destinations are cost-free. You are charged per minute rates for calls outside the VoIP network. Using VoIP can also reduce your line rental costs as it utilises high speed Internet connections for both voice and data.

Connect your remote offices with VoIP systems and pay zero for the calls made between them. Click here for a diagram.

How reliable and secure is VoIP?

VoIP is as reliable as the Internet. Most of the reliability issues of VoIP have to do with either an individual service provider or the VoIP equipment that you may be using. There are several problems that you can run into due to bad installation or misconfiguration. VoIP is also secure just like a traditional phone service. With encryption, VoIP calls can be even more secure than those placed over traditional phone lines.

With our installation service we will segregate the Voice data from your normal network data giving priority to Voice traffic ensuring that your voice calls are as good as they get.

Can I take my VoIP Phone with me when I travel?

Our systems come with a soft phone similar to the skype program. You only need access to a high speed Internet connection and you can use the phone service anywhere in the world. Calling would be the same as if you were dialling from your business and you would not incur additional charges.

What is VoIP and how does it work?

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) allows you to make telephone calls over an Internet connection rather than over a conventional telephone network. VoIP converts your voice signal from your telephone into a digital signal that travels over the Internet and converts it back at the other end so you can speak to anyone with a regular phone number.
